Pirandai Thuvaiyal

The days are changing all of us are becoming health conscious.We are trying to be organic.So a best food for our heart is this pirandai.There are different varieties of pirandai green, red, round etc.This is a green plant based food we can use it to make podi,thuvaiyal,chutney etc.It makes our heart functions better, reduces bad cholesterol levels,and also heals gastric problems.This pirandai thuvaiyal is made with simple ingredients .Consume 
 it and take care of your health. 
Ingredients
Pirandai-1 cup
Garlic -20 cloves 
Cumin -1 tablespoon
Pepper -2 tablespoons
Red chillies - 7-8
Tamarind- a small ball size 
Mustard -1 teaspoon
Urad dal-1 teaspoon 
Hing -1/4 teaspoon 
Oil - 3 tablespoons
Salt to taste 
Note:you can use any type of pirandai.
Method
Wash the pirandai and remove the edges of it .In a pan dry roast cumin, pepper and red chillies one by one. Then add a tablespoon oil and fry pirandai ,garlic and red chillies sepertaly.Trasnfer to a plate. Let all the ingredients cool.Now transfer all the items to a blender add tamarind and grind them smooth using required water.  In a Kadai add oil then mustard let them crackle add urad dal fry till golden brown now add hing and mix well and add the blended mixture. Cook for 5-10 minutes in medium flame till the oil comes out in the edges of  Kadai and mix well.The pirandai thuvaiyal is ready to serve.You can serve it with hot rice along with a teaspoon ghee or ginegly oil or  with idly dosa and chappati.Eat it atleast weekly once to stay healthy.
