Spicy Seedai

 Seedai is a crispy snacks made with rice flour. It is especially made on Krishna jayanthi .There are many types of seedai,all might have tried salt seedai .But have you ever tried this spicy seedai.Try this crispy and spicy seedai and serve  with  evening  tea.This Spicy seedai will be a superb tea time snacks.

Ingredients

Rice flour -1 cup

Urad dal flour -2 tablespoons

Chilli powder -1 teaspoon

Cumin -2 teaspoons

Oil for frying 

Salt to taste 

Method

In a wide plate add rice flour, urad dal flour, chilli powder  and cumin and mix well.Add  required water and combine to make  a soft dough.Now make the dough into small balls. The balls should be in the size of a cherry. In a heavy bottom kadai add oil ,heat in medium flame.Add one small ball of dough,if it comes out without browning the oil is in correct temperature.Fry all the seedais without joining each other.In a batch you can fry 12-15 seedai .Once it is golden brown and  crispy transfer to a colander or plate. Fry the remaining seedai  in the same process. The spicy seedai is ready to serve. Eat the seedai and have  a sip of hot tea this will be yummy spicy snacks.
