Mint coconut chutney

The coconut chutney is one of the  famous chutney made often in many of our homes for breakfast . It is a south Indian cuisine that is served with idly and dosa.But have you tried mint coconut  chutney it is a mouthwatering and healthy chutney.

Ingredients

Grated coconut -1 cup
Mint leaves -a handful
Green chillies -5-6
Ginger -1/4 inch
Garlic-3 cloves
Tamarind -small ball  size
Fried gram -3 tablespoon 
Mustard-1 tablespoon
Urad dal-1 teaspoon
Red chilli -3
Curry leaves -12 
Salt to taste 
Oil -2 teaspoon 

Mint coconut chutney

Method
In a pan add 1 teaspoon oil then put green chillies and fry for 2 minutes transfer to a plate .Then add 1 teaspoon oil add mustard let them crackle then add urad dal fry till golden brown add red chilli and curry
 leaves switch off the stove. Keep the tempering ready. In a mixee add the grated coconut,mint leaves, green chillies,roasted gram,ginger,garlic,tamarind,salt and grind to smooth chutney add required water and mix.Pour the tempering on the chutney.
Serve mouthwatering  and healthy chutney with idly and dosa.
