Idly Dosa Podi
All of us like to have idly and dosa for breakfast.But to find a side dish for it is very tough.A very yummy side dish is the Kara podi or milagai podi.But all of us prefer to buy packed podi and pickles.The packed ones might not suit our taste .It may not be organic.so you can prepare and keep this ready.And make a tasty and healthy breakfast from your family
Ingredients
Channa dal- 1/2 cup
Urad dal- 1 cup
Red chilli-25
Pepper-1tablesoon
Cumin-1 tabesoon
Hing-1/2 teaspoon
Sesame-3 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Method
Heat a heavy buttom Kadai.In the low flame dry roast the ingredients one by one. Let it cool down completely.Then add all the items to a mixer and grind them to a fine powder.Add the required salt. Store it in a tight container upto 2-3 months.Add sesame oil or ghee to the podi and serve with idly and dosa.Enjoy a delicious breakfast.
