Crispy Murukku

The word snacks makes us feel happy. The snacks Which are store bought might not be healthy and cause health issues. We can make simple mouthwatering  murukku at home to satisfy our taste buds. A crispy snacks in the evening is loved  by everyone at  home.

Ingredients

Rice flour-4 cups
Urad dal flour-1 cup 
Cumin or sesame-3 tablespoon
Butter -2 tablespoon 
Salt to taste 
Oil for frying 

Method

To make urad dal flour dry roast the urad dal till golden brown.Make a fine powder. In a wide Plate take rice flour, urad dal flour, cumin,butter and salt .Mix all the ingredients till they combine well. Add the required water and make a soft  dough.

Heat oil in a heavy buttom  kadai till the oil is very hot. Fill the murukku achu with dough. Turn a plate upside down and make murukku.



Drop them into the hot oil. After 2 minutes flip the muruku. In the slow flame fry till crispy.



Transfer the murukkus into a plate.Fry all the murukkus in the same manner.Let them cool. Store it in a air tight container.Enjoy healthy homemade crispy murukkus.
